Questions worth asking up front
What happens when I run out of monthly quota?
We don't cut you off. We switch to a more efficient model with a clear notice and bring you back to the main model on day one of next month. Your cognitive profile applies in both cases.
Why does Essential use Sonnet 4.6 and not Opus 4.8?
Because Opus costs five times more in tokens. Charging you €14.99 and giving you unlimited Opus would lose us money on you, and that's not sustainable. Sonnet 4.6 with your cognitive profile produces remarkably tuned conversations — it's not a downgrade, it's a different point on the price/intelligence curve. If you want Opus by default, go Premium.
What exactly is adaptive thinking?
A capability of Opus 4.8 where the model reasons internally — between 1,000 and 16,000 tokens of private thought — before responding when the problem warrants it. Simple questions don't even trigger it. Complex ones reach answers no non-thinking model can produce. Professional only.
Why does the portable cost €249 but I see €199?
Because you're an active subscriber. We apply a loyalty discount for staying with the platform that hosts your data.
Can I cancel and keep my AfiniTwin?
Yes. The AfiniTwin you've downloaded is yours forever — it's just a JSON. If you cancel, you stop generating new quarterly exports and lose the profile-aware chat inside afini.ai, but the downloaded JSON keeps working with any external AI.
When does the model get updated?
When Anthropic publishes a new version and we've validated it in staging. Never without notice. You can see the active model at any time on the model status page.
Is there a trial period?
Yes: Premium and Professional include a 7-day free trial. Stripe emails you one day before the first charge. Cancel anytime, and if the first 14 days after the first charge don't convince you, we refund that first month — voluntary refund policy. Essential ships without trial: at €14.99/mo the price is accessible enough to start directly.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe — credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and SEPA where available. Invoice issued by Bilbao AI S.L. (Spain).
