Declared competence and ignorance

Domains where the AI can assume your level without explaining the basics, and domains where it must assume nothing.

Declared competence is what avoids useless explanations: if you declare expert competence in TypeScript, the AI doesn't explain what a generic type is every time. Declared ignorance is the opposite: if you declare ignorance in commercial law, the AI explains from scratch when it comes up, without assuming context. Three depth levels: expert, working, surface. The more specific your domains, the better it calibrates.
