Layer 1
Canon: your cultural landscape
The authors you reread, the music you keep playing, the films you've watched three times, the places where you feel right. Your canon tells the AI how to talk to you without sounding like an IKEA manual.
What it captures
Seven subcategories: literature, music, film, fashion, perfumes, food & wine, places. Not to label you — to get the tone right when the AI suggests something.
Why it matters
An AI without a canon treats you like a hotel front desk treats walk-ins: with whatever's left over. An AI with a canon knows you'd rather have an Albéniz than a modern Bach without you having to spell it out.
How it's built
Three paths: the Proust questionnaire (ten questions, fifteen minutes), adding items manually as they come to mind, or a backfill that scans your existing conversations and proposes candidates.

Privacy
Your canon is encrypted under your account. You can edit, pin or remove any item. Automatic extraction never adds high-sensitivity items without your explicit confirmation.
Frequently asked
- What if I add something I no longer like?
- Remove it and it's gone. Add it back later if you change your mind. No penalties.
- Why seven categories and not more?
- These are the seven that best predict the tone the AI should use with you. More would be noise. Fewer would impoverish the picture.
- Can I export my canon?
- Yes. With the Professional plan, your canon is included in your portable JSON profile. You can hand it to any external AI.
